Hair loss is one of those issues that affects a huge amount of both men and women all around the world and a lot of people will struggle to find a solution to their problem. One of the big problems is that there are so many products and treatments out there that claim to be great hair loss cures; you won’t know where to start. In reality, there are very few treatments for hair loss that will actually be complete hair loss cures, but there are a lot of products and treatments that will really help with your hair loss problem. Here are a few hair loss cures that we have come across which are most likely to have a positive effect.

Hair transplant

This is probably the only hair loss solution that is actually able to definitively say that it will offer a full hair loss cure and is 99% guaranteed to work. Hair loss transplants are becoming increasingly popular and are also becoming increasingly more affordable. They are still pretty expensive compared to a lot of the hair loss cures out there, but the results that they bring are often some of the best that you will come across.

Although a hair transplant might offer a guaranteed hair loss cure, they are still pretty risky procedures as hair transplants will involve surgery. As well as this, it is impossible to tell whether your scalp will accept the hair transplant although the success rate in this area is pretty high. Many people that have had hair transplants have seen a hugely noticeable improvement when it comes to their hair loss problems but there are others that haven’t been entirely happy with the results.

One of the problems with a hair transplant as a hair loss cure is that it is often very noticeable as hair growth is instant and overnight. This will often discourage a lot of people as the thought that people will know they have had a hair transplant is an off-putting idea. Nonetheless, this is a great hair loss cure.

Rogaine

Another hair loss cure that we are sure you will have heard of is Rogaine. Rogaine is probably the oldest and most highly regarded hair loss cure currently out there on the market and whilst it doesn’t guarantee results, most Rogaine customers say that they are very happy with the product. Rogaine is one of the only hair loss products that is available over-the-counter and has actually been approved by the FDA to have a positive affect when it comes to hair loss.

Rogaine is available for both men and women and usually involves a topical solution as well as an oral solution. Rogaine is by no means an overnight hair loss cure, but after a few weeks, or possibly months of use, most people will see a vast improvements in terms of their hair loss and hair growth.

Rogaine is probably thought of as one of the best hair loss cures out there are it is relatively inexpensive (especially when compared to solutions like hair transplants) and is readily available to everyone.

UPDATE: 06/01/2013Amazon.com is currently selling the latest “aerosol foam” form of Rogaine.

If you are based in the United Kingdom you will need to visit Amazon.co.uk.

Laser therapy

Laser therapy is big news in the hair loss world at the moment and it is becoming increasingly popular as a cure for the problem. Laser therapy basically involves low level lasers being applied to the affected areas of the scalp in order to stimulate blood flow and hair growth. Much like topical and oral solutions like Rogaine, laser therapy does not claim to be a hair loss cure, but most people have seen great results when it comes to this treatment.

Laser therapy is something that can either be done professionally or at home using a home laser therapy device. The laser therapy devices that can be used at home are usually quite inexpensive and can be used many times. The good thing about laser therapy as a hair loss cure is that it will not involve any kind of drugs and will also cause no discomfort.

This is a hair loss cure that will probably bring the best results when used in conjunction with Rogaine or another hair loss treatment.

Conclusion

Definitive hair loss cures are definitely still years from the market and chances are high that they will never come, at least not in our lifetime. However, the products/solutions mentioned in this article, as well as a number of other great treatments that we didn’t have chance to mention, can often almost be a complete hair loss cure for some people.

Whilst there is no cure, feel free to check out my recommended shopping list of products that I use which I believe every hair loss sufferer should at least try to see if they work before moving into heavier treatments such as Propecia and hair restoration surgery.
